Moi University is the one of the very few universities in the whole of African region that offers Aviation courses. The university owns a fleet of lightcrafts used for educational purposes 



In 2009, Moi University acquired its first six-seater plane from the Ministry of Environment for training purposes. Currently Moi university has:

● Cessna 303 commercial plane, 
● Cessna 162
● Cessna 152
● Cessna 182  
● Padinavia aircraft. 

This brings to a total of 7 planes owned by Moi University for training purposes.
